The KB Records-window is the main window for browsing the KB on the record level. You can locate records by realm or by chain (this is controlled by the two radio buttons in the upper part of the window).

Realms/chains listbox

The realms/chains listbox in the upper part of the window, shows all realms or chains in the KB (according to the radio button selection). Realms are listed on the format:

realmName in databaseFileName [databaseIdentifier],

while chains are listed on the format:

chainName [chainNL_Name] in databaseFileName [databaseIdentifier]

Records listbox:

The Records listbox in the lower part of the window will be populated with records from the realm/chain when a selection is made in the realms/chains listbox. Records are listed on the format:

databaseIdentifier:databaseAddress RecordType realmName realmNo/realmSubNo UpdateDate updateTime ConclusionPart

CONTROLS:

• Press Delete Realm/Chain-button to delete all records in the selected realm or chain.
• Press Delete Record-button to delete the selected record.
• Press View/Update-button to open the selected record in the Record-window.

The Records listbox can contain up to 100 records at a time. The Down- and Up-buttons are used to scroll down/up to the next/previous set of 100 records.

Note that scrolling in the Records listbox might become inoperable after records have been deleted. Re-select the ream or chain in the Realms/Chains listbox in such cases.
