Volvo B20

The original motor was probably a Volvo B20 with a Volvo Penta 200 single propeller drive. The engine was replaced with another B20 in 1999. This engine was a marinized (salt water-cooled) B20 from a BV202 military belt wagon - never used, but stored in mobilization store. The drive was replaced with a second hand Volvo Penta 280 in 2008.

The BV202 is a tracked, all-terrain vehicle developed by Volvo BM. The 202 carries driver and commander in the front unit and 8 troops in the trailer unit. It can be adapted for other, different, applications.Production started in Arvika in 1964 and ended in 1981.
